This "Between Cases" novella has been a bit of a secret project. While working on 18 CALIBER, I began taking notes for a Maizie and Nash New Year's Eve story, not sure if I could use it this year or not. But as the story unfolded, it dovetailed wonderfully from NC-17 and into 18 CALIBER (but takes place a week after A VIEW TO A CHILL). So I hurried to write it and get it to my editor so we could have it out for the holidays for y'all. :)
